1. managed - you don't give a f.... about server installation, maintanace or security. These jobs are done for you.
2. Self- managed; you only have a termnial login...
So, 2nd otion is muuuch cheaper. I have self-managed, runing on alphavps and I pay as little as 9eur/month and I have 2 vpcu (amd) and 8GB, ddr4 of ram! TTFB - ~ 180ms

I can recommend hetzer (used for a 5 months), alphavps (using for a 2nd month) - these are self-managed
also, if you need managed - definatlety can recomend scalahosting (used them for 7 months) !
