Problems upon problems...
No activation code is sent, no email notifications are received even though it is checked to send notifications.
Activation Required does not work, no code is sent, and the SMTP server, although perfectly configured, does not send email...
even if I activate SMTP or not, nobody receives emails...

I have just tested the activation email and there working fine on my site
other than them going into spam folder its working

I did a test on two different domains with a fresh installation and with different emails... none of them work account activation email and notifications + SMTP...

smtp is working fine, issue with spam folder i talked to my host provider they did a little change on dns and issue was solved.

Gmail no longer allows you to use smtp services, unless you have a paid google workspaces account...

I don't get the activation codes or the notifications in the spam folder either, as you can see I'm using gmail, in the old versions I was still using gmail and I didn't have any problem with the activation codes and notifications...

I used the email from the web hosting and still in vain, I didn't receive anything and I switched to gmail and still without result...
But I still need to receive the notifications even if I disable SMTP.

Email providers just recently was required to have more strict smtp policies, & so now you'll see a high % of undeliverables, marked as spam, & email rejected by email servers.
