I recived the borlabs Newsletter with important information!
If you have integrated Google AdSense on your website to earn money by displaying advertising or are using Borlabs Cookie 2.3.0-beta, it is now necessary to take action.
From January 16, 2024, Google will require the use of a certified consent management platform for personalized advertising. This means you need to install Borlabs Cookie 3.0.
If you are currently using Borlabs Cookie 2.3.0-beta because you already need the IAB TCF, it is urgent to act immediately, as from November 20th only TC strings of version TCF 2.2 will be valid.
Switching from 2.x to 3.0
To upgrade from version 2.x to 3.0, it is necessary to completely uninstall Borlabs Cookie 2.x. There is no way to transfer data from the old version to the new one.
You can find more information about Borlabs Cookie 3.0 in our blog post from October 20th
https://de.borlabs.io/borlabs-cookie-3-0/.
IMPORTANT: These steps must be followed!

IMPORTANT: These steps must be completed in the order listed.
Setup Borlabs Cookie 3.0
The important things first:
Cookie groups are now called service groups.
Cookies are now referred to as services.
Service templates (e.g. for Google Analytics) or content blockers (e.g. for YouTube) can be installed via the new library.
In the dashboard you will find 10 steps under Quick Start that will guide you through the new Borlabs cookie.
The two most important areas for you are the scanner and the library.
The scanner allows you to set up Borlabs Cookie (almost) automatically.
However, you can use the library if you want to install new services such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, HubSpot, VG Wort, etc., or content blockers such as YouTube, Calendly, Google Maps, Trusted Shops, etc.
With Borlabs Cookie 3.0, we are pursuing a new concept that aims to make the implementation of the GDPR faster, easier and less compromised. Our new system allows us to establish compatibility with the plugins and themes you love most more quickly and comprehensively.
In January 2024, the missing translations for French, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Spanish will be available, and the first additional articles will also be published in the knowledge base.
Google AdSense and IAB TCF Settings

Then click on Consent Management » IAB TCF » Manage Vendors and there on the Configure Vendors button.
Under Purposes, as described in the Google documentation
