I need something like that too, but i can't found how to update posts with fluent form only create new

I had the same issue, but I was lucky and found the perfect solution in a free plugin called ACF-Extended. One of its features is, in fact, the perfect form solution for frontend forms for both post creation and updating. I stumbled across a YouTube video that I found to be most informative of the whole process ->
