Typewriter addon doesn't work in this new version of the plugin. Other than this, it installs with no problems and you can select it, but it doesn't work as expected when being used into the slides texts

When switching to SR6 in the Global Plugin Settings, the Typewriter Effect addon should work fine.
Take a close look at the Global Slider Settings.
1. After installing the SR7 interface engine and, later, after switching it in Global Settings to SR6, reset the plugin cache - the function in Global Settings (if it is activated).
2. If the Forces database creation function is enabled, click: Clear the migrated SR7 tables (in the same place in the Global Settings).
3. At the bottom: Save the Global Settings.
Reset the site cache.

I'll try it. However, even when using SR6 engine with this new version, the addon doesn't worked. There is also other issues that I've detected. The overlay patterns, for example, that doesn't work as with previous versions. I believe that this new release still needs to be polished a bit.

My general recomendation for anyone is to not update yet and wait a bit.

When SR6 engine is selected in global settings, the typewriter addon doesn't work but the metadata displays the texts just fine . And when SR7 engine is selected, the addon works but the metadata is not being replaced with DB values. So there is no way to use the addon. It doesn't work with SR6 and it doesn't work with SR7 either

Just found out a problem with Windows Security saying that there is a Trojan: Script/Wacatac.B!ml in revslider/admin/assets/js/modules/admin.min.js.
I've tried with VirusTotal and had no issues with zipped and single files. Does anyone else have the same issue?

No. There is no such issue. Uninstall Windows because it is the virus.

Let's await more time (a week at least) because every time slider revolution is updated, they need to release three or four revision to fix bugs...
