Hide My WP - Best Security Plugin for WordPress!

Hide My WP - Best Security Plugin for WordPress! v6.2.11

No permission to download
Since updating, all websites using this plugin result in 503 server error. I can access any other non-WordPress sites and if I delete the plugin via the wp-content folder, then the site works normally.

Any idea what's going on here? Also nobody answered my question regarding the folder structure change on the previous updated version, which appears to have changed back again this time.

To add to this, rolling back to the previous version, fixed the issue, which means there's something specifically off with this version.

Checking logs revealed the following:

Code:
[Thu Jan 19 22:02:52.299033 2023] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 1068518:tid 140400677193280] [client 123.456,789,10] AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Warning: include(../wp-includes/pluggable.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/username/domains/domain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp/load.php on line 260PHP message: PHP Warning: include(../wp-includes/pluggable.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/username/domains/domain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp/load.php on line 260PHP message: PHP Warning: include(): Failed opening '../wp-includes/pluggable.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php81/lib/php:/home/username/domains/domain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp/lib/mute-screamer/libraries') in /home/username/domains/domain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/hide_my_wp/load.php on line 260', referer: https://domain.com//wp-login.php

Which PHP version are you using?
Try to use PHP version 8 and above

Those having issues please use new main download as should be okay now. 👍

@AR90
With regards to the name you mentioned, wpwave are hide my wp.

The zip name used can obviously change, however the parent folder within the zip file should remain constant as that is what WordPress looks at when installing as you will know.

Just looked at previous v6.2.7, for some reason it was changed from 'hide_my_wp' on untouched to 'wpwave-hide_my_wp' on the nulled version.

For starters it shouldn't have and it will also make your WordPress setup install it as a new plugin, therefore you would have two versions of this on your setup.

@Dieds Thanks for taking the time to share this! I was using PHP 8.1 on all websites using this plugin, I'm not sure why there were suddenly so many increases in errors with the last version, but I switched to using another plugin offered on this forum with the same name and have not had errors since.

Shame, because I have a purchase key for this plugin from a LONNNNGGG time ago which still works 😆, but I feel the plugin itself causes errors and maybe it's just not updated as often as it needs to be. Who knows, but either way, I've moved away from this one.

@AR90 and which one is that? Kindly share the name... Does it offer the same features like this my favourite renaming of plugins and themes.
