you can import demo with old version like version 2.07 and update to v2.1.0 later
v2.1.1 isn't even available for purchase yet. It says on their site that it's coming soon. The latest version available is 2.1.0.
I'm not sure, but I don't think the "last update" refers only to the theme update, it may also refer to any changes/updates done to the Item Details section, ex: the Cyber Monday Sale banner that they posted today (23 november). So if they didn't update the changelog on their website it means that most probably they didn't update the theme on ThemeForest either. Not 100% sure tho.

I advise you not to use this theme.
At first glance it looks flashy and very versatile, beautiful
But after a period of use, you will find it encounters many errors in many different aspects. Makes it look like a mess and has been sloppily built, focusing only on appearance and not code cleanliness.
The author of this theme is also known for their fraudulent behavior and extremely lousy customer support, even many customers have called them scams, but they slandered customers as scams and locked their accounts. Theirs abound on themeforest. Don't believe the reviews on there, a lot of people reflect that they have had their accounts blocked and disappeared. Their support page is also the next scam, you will never get support, because they always make it laggy and fail to load.
I recommend you to switch to the Hub theme. You will be very happy that you did not have to waste time on a theme full of errors and deception like Essentials.
As you said, they have a very bad support team i guess but i really liked this theme coz its fancy, animated and simple so brought it for $29 on black Friday offer.
I upload here their latest version, unedited and originally downloaded from my account.
To verify what I say is valid, because I spent $ 61 to buy this theme.
THEY are lousy, currently a lot of themes are on sale during BF day.
I advise you not to waste time with them.
