Hi all,

I have a question regarding Mysql database.

I have been experimenting with an extensive plugin on a Wordpress installation that I use for testing purposes.

I completely filled this plugin with information (which took a few hours). And I am satisfied with it.
Now I want to copy/paste the 37 tables in Mysql database into my main website production database.
I thought it was a simple copy/paste (or export/import), but it turns out it isn't. I can only export the entire database and not only the tables that I need.

Does anyone know a way to easily copy particular tables (and not the whole database) from one database to another database in the same Mysql environment?

Hope someone can help me, otherwise I have to start all over again.

Thank you in advance

I can do for you send details in dm once i have free time. Free of cost.

You can export "selected" tables if you are using phpmyadmin? Just select tables which you want to export and bottom of the tables there have a "export selected" option and done. You can import as well to another database

Hi Warborn,

Thank you for your offer.

But no offence, but the database contains some sensitive information I can't share because of GDPR.
No issue bro.

Thank you Guguk it worked!

I only thought I could copy the whole database, but no I only exported the concerning tables and imported them in the other database.
