I'm trying to install a script on my cPanel hosting account. I've set up a redirect from public/index.php in the cPanel interface, but the installation page doesn't open and I'm getting an ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error.
The contents of my .htaccess file in the root directory are as follows:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^$ /public/index.php [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/index.php/$1 [L]
Is there anything else I need to check or edit? The script's sales have been discontinued, so there is no support documentation available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
