As a web designer, there are several ways to find clients:

  1. Online Freelance Platforms: Websites such as Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiverr offer opportunities for web designers to find clients who need their services. You can create a profile and bid on projects that match your skills and experience.
  2. Social Media: Utilize social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram to showcase your work and attract potential clients. You can also join relevant groups and communities on these platforms to network and connect with other professionals in your industry.
  3. Referrals: Word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied clients can be an excellent source of new business. Encourage your clients to refer you to their network if they are happy with your work.
  4. Cold Emailing: Research potential clients and send them personalized emails showcasing your skills and experience. Be sure to tailor your email to the recipient and highlight how your services can benefit their business.
  5. Networking Events: Attend networking events such as conferences, workshops, and meetups to connect with other professionals and potential clients. Make sure to bring business cards and be prepared to talk about your services.
Remember that building a strong portfolio and providing excellent customer service are crucial to attracting and retaining clients. Good luck!

Base on my path finding client this days its a bit overwhelming good promotion on social medias, forums and local will be your best bet.

I gave up finding clients now clients find me base on reputation and referrals my strategy is building complete website selling the whole site and offer them support and so on.

since my friend also web designer
they just promote their services on facebook group....

if someone ask something
you should answer and make the post alive...

so it can visible from any home feed from all people who joining the same group
normally they will contact you to do something and in the end.... you get some client

or if you want different approach you can use digital marketplace to selling your services

Well I wanted to find out from web designers their real sources of clients, not a chat gpt answer 😂

Anyway, not all of them work, and some like Upwork (where I work now) put a certain ceiling in earning.
Since the competition that offers $20-40 per hour is a lot - you have to limit yourself in pricing as well (in the long run you lose).

may be by creating a team you can get more clients, add devs and QAs in your team, add app designers. and manage them.

You can watch the Troy dean's Client acquisition formula
I completed it and it helped me a lot
Boosted my confidence, organized me, improved my way of talking to clients as premium service provider instead of a desperate freelancing begging for work
Gave a very different way to find high quality clients

I can share the course here if needed

@Admins can I share external link here?
