Disclaimer: This is a basic step by step guide written by myself on how to set up and start streaming thousands of global IPTV channels within minutes under a few short steps as to benefit any fellow community members who're unaware of this thing!

Step 1: Head down to https://kodi.tv/ and grab the player setup based on your platform.
Step 2: After completing the installation, launch the player and go inside the Add-ons tab.
Step 3: Download PVR IPTV Simple Client and get it installed on the player.
Step 4: You 'll find the installed add-on under my addons section. Simply Right Click and choose Information.
Steap 5: Goto -- Configure -- General -- Choose Local Path under Location.
Step 6: Grab any m3u playlist you prefer out of categories listed below and select the path to your downloaded playlist.
Final Step: Restart the player. Goto TV tab. Enjoy your tv shows, Unlimitedly.. For Free!!

You can also Use VLC on PC, Android or TV to Stream these channels

You can get the same m3u from https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv so you can use it on any device, no need to add Kodi. Problem with this is majority of the tv channels are not premium ones

I havent used it for playlist tbh, as I use the login for paid service and has no issue on win10 or 8

Yes Legal no need any VPN

Legality varies from country to country. It's not legal here in the UK but still I use my providers service without a VPN. While a VPN can safer it does slow down the bandwith available.

For Apple TV I recommend GSE Smart IPTV.

The simple way is load your m3u files using VLC, like @cteq1 said.

No, extracted one will get expired or the line will be banned within the next 2-3 days, but these are static URLs, these have no user ID or pass. They are collected from several live streaming sites, so until the source site exists, they will never expire. Enjoy!
