It's been quite some time since i have posted this question. I agree with you, using oxygen without basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP/JS is pain in ass. Honestly i would recommend learning those basics to eveyone that is serious about creating his website and i cant imagine being webdev without this knowledge. I think most if not all informations from this course is already available for free. Oxygen team have posted lots of vids on their channel. It's pretty basic stuff...
