Great in theory, but it rarely works out well in practice. Unfortunately it just needs one person to give out the key, next minute is it's everywhere and the key/account gets banned.

The only way it may work is if enough people were prepared to donate to the cause, we purchase a license, then we null it and add our own licensing system. Just a thought.
