Origin Sound proudly presents Altered States, a downtempo library that tastefully fuses delicate musical elements with the production aesthetic of contemporary Hip Hop.
The foundation of Altered States comes from the exceptional 82 one shot drum samples which range from punchy kicks, cracking hip hop snares, shimmering tops and characterful percussion elements. In addition to these there are 15 drum loops which can be directly dragged and dropped to infuse any beat with a ready-to-go groove, not to mention the stems to these drum loops are also included to allow interchangeability between the rhythms offered. As a bonus we have included an extra 10 percussion loops which are perfect for layering over your own drum patterns.
Dive into Altered States and you will find a comprehensive range of melodic sounds, ranging from stuttering Rhodes chords, rich bass tones, to soaring guitars, not to mention a selection of melodic ‘stacks’ consisting of multiple layers of instruments, providing a thick sample to work with and spark your creativity. Altered States also includes completely key and tempo labelled MIDI clips to match the music loops, giving you the ability to build on your productions with your own synths and sounds, or even utilise some of the provided presets alongside the audio loops.
Last but not least, Altered States has a great selection of samples that are ideal for that final layer of detail, whether that be from creatively utilising one of the many obscure vocal hits on offer, or perhaps implicating some of the processed foley SFX into your percussion, there is plenty of scope for adding your own unique sonic imprint on your productions.
