Most of these updates including microsoft as well asides from fixing some bugs, are design to sell people newer computers so they always perform better with latest cpu's graphic cards etc.. I am perfectly happy with high sierra's performance.

UI is great, I'm experiencing high usage of battery and also, it was 16GB for an upgrade. Pweeee.
