This version has serious SEO error. That is the reason for the update... Category base is enable , no place to disable categories base

It doesn't have an option for that but you can use a different plugin or method for it, not sure if i can post links here soo i'm sending you a message with some methods you can try.

I am not talking about removing the word category and replacing it with something else.
Assumed my website is www.ejesgist.com and I set the category base to news and
If I have a category named Naijagist.
Instead of the URL to display www.ejesgist.com/news/naijagist. I want it to display www.ejesgist.com/naijagist

Rank Maths and yoast can do it.
